HEED Finland, winner of the Moniheli´s Association of the Year Award (MAYA)

HEED Association Finland was the winner of the Moniheli Association of the Year MAYA in 2021.  The goal of MAYA is to recognize and appreciate the work of member associations that have impacted immigrant communities through their activities and to motivate other member associations to be active.  HEED Finland´s victory wasn’t surprising to many as the organization has a consistent action-orientated, and low-threshold approach to its activities.  The association has planned and implemented different kinds of events on health and integration during the past two years and has collaborated with many public and third-sector organizations and grassroots associations.
