HEED Finland welcomes you to join a series of cycling tours in nature! The cycling tours are organized in cooperation with Think Africa and the Ugandan Community in Finland, and with the financial support of Moniheli.
Dates and routes:
1. Saturday, July 27, 4 p.m. Herttoniemi – Vanhankaupungin koski, Helsinki
Meeting place: Metro exit (in front of K-Citymarket Hertta).
Ending: Some groups will cycle to the neasrest train or metro stations, while those who want can cycle back to Herttoniemi with some of the organizers.
2. Friday, August 9, 4.30 p.m. Luontorata at Uutela, Vuosaari, Helsinki
Meeting place: Vuosaari metro exit in front of the shopping mall.
Ending: Vuosaari metro.
IMPORTANT NOTE: this event will include health checks provided by HEED Finland
3. Sunday, August 18, 4 pm Lauttasaari – Lehtisaari – Seurasaari, Helsinki
Meeting place: Outside the Lauttis shopping center by the Lauttasaari metro exit (Otavantie).
Ending: Seurasaari, where there will be grilling and a picnic.
4. Friday, August 30, 4.30 p.m. Tapiola – Matinkylä, Espoo, coastal route
Meeting point: Heikintori (Tapiola).
Ending: Matinkylä metro.
5. Sunday, September 22, 4 p.m. Arabia – Lammasaari, Helsinki (RESCHEDULED FROM SAT, SEP 14 DUE TO RAIN)
Meeting point: “Kumpulan kampus” bus stop (at the junction between Hämeentie and the motorway, at the start of Arabia, next to Kumpula).

The organizing team will keep an eye on the weather forecasts. In the event of excessive rain or unsuitable weather conditions the tour will be postponed to the next closest possible date (that same weekend or the weekend after, if possible). In the case of such updates we will notify all those who have enrolled.

We are looking for additional guides!
We ask that the guides familiarize themselves with the routes beforehand, We will provide a reimbursement for a city bike seasonal subscription for all volunteers who can volunteer for (at least) 2 of the 5 events, or an alternative for those who already have a bike and would not benefit from an Alepa bike seasonal pass.
