Men’s health and Chronic Diseases (TERKKU Project)

Community outreach on Chronic Disease Awareness for migrant men. During this event, free health checks and individual guidance on chronic diseases were provided to about 42 immigrant men mainly living in the city of Espoo. Participants also enjoyed a free healthy snack. Feedback from participants was mainly positive, as many expressed the importance of having such events more frequently. Six participants were recommended to seek immediate attention because of High blood pressure, High cholesterol levels, and very low haemoglobin.
